   Muted Tones Follow the Livestock Complex Through Thursday's Close

   Bids were offered throughout Thursday in both Nebraska and Kansas but no new
trade was noted.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

   Thursday came and went and the livestock contracts didn't see much change
throughout the day's trade. The cattle contracts still closed lower as traders
long for improved fundamental support, but the lean hog contracts were able to
close a touch higher thanks to trader support. December corn is down 1/2 cent
per bushel and December soybean meal is down $6.40. The Dow Jones Industrial
Average is down 132.54 points and the NASDAQ is down 365.13 points.
