Grain, Soy Markets Fail to Extend Early Strength and Close Lower, Led by the
Soy Complex

Thursday's early strength in all the grain and soy markets did not last,
with all the markets selling off at midday to finish lower by the close. Bean
oil fell for the first time in nine days after palm oil reversed and crude oil
plunged. The markets likely weakened from hedge selling and from a slowdown in
fund short covering.
