   Cash Cattle Prices Jump $2.00 to $4.00 Higher

   Throughout the day Southern live cattle traded at $185 ($2.00 higher) and
Northern dressed cattle traded at $294 ($4.00 higher).

GENERAL COMMENTS:

   It was an exhilarating day for the cattle complex as feedlot managers
successfully pushed the cash market $2.00 to $4.00 higher. Meanwhile, the lean
hog complex wasn't as fruitful as traders withdrew from the market ahead of the
Quarterly report. December corn is down 2 cents per bushel and December soybean
meal is down $1.40. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 260.36 points.
